Razor City Showcase 2026 Tournament Rules
GENERAL INFO:

- WINNING TEAM MUST REPORT SCORES TO CHECK IN AREAS OR TEXT THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS

- Bicentennial Softball Complex: 10u and 12u
- 300 W. Warlow Drive
- All softball fields with be used: 1- 4, Goat Roper (GR), Sampson (S)
- Use DAK Score app to control scoreboards
- Energy Capital Sports Complex: 14u, 16u and 18u
- 3400 Garner Lake Road
- All softball fields will be used: Fields 1-4
- Team manager will be responsible for their players and fans at all times.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated resulting in ejection from game and/or tournament (player, team, coach and/or fan)
- Game balls will be furnished by the tournament director.
- Each team is responsible for their own first aid supplies
- No sunflower seeds, gum or dogs inside the Energy Capital Sports Complex
- Metal cleats are not allowed at the Energy Capital Sports Complex
- Umpire in Charge (UIC)
- All protests will be handled by the Umpire in Charge (UIC) and that decision will be final.

- Guest Players are allowed but MUST be added to your USSSA roster
- All players must be insured (USA or USSSA is acceptable)
- All Team coaches and volunteers must have passed a background check and be safesport certified
- Rain Out/Severe Weather game cancellation Info will be posted on USSSA and Facebook (Gillette Blue Jays)
- Incomplete games will be fully refunded based on 4 game guarantee (less than 3 complete innings played)
- Tournament Director(s) and UIC(s) reserve the right to determine best course of action for game delays and continuation of play to ensure the safety for all
- USSSA rules will be used with the following exceptions or clarifications:
- No auto out in the batting line-up for any reason (including only playing with 8 players) EXCEPT if a player has been ejected.
- If a player is ejected, she will be out each time in the lineup (Sat & Sun)
- Lineup cards are required for the ump and opposing team
- Run Rule: applies to entire tournament including Championship game
- Third inning - 12 runs
- Fourth inning - 10 runs
- Fifth inning - 8 runs
- Pool Play: Friday & Saturday
- Home team is determined by coin flip
- 3 game guarantee
- Game time limit of 75 minutes
- Be prepared to take the field if games get ahead or behind
- Finish the inning
- Pool play games can end in a tie
- Teams ending in a tie: each team gets ½ loss and ½ win
- 10 and Under Rules

- 5 run limit per inning - MAX

Razor City Instructional Camp
We are hosting an instructional camp led by college coaches the morning of June 19th.

Full refund if tournament is canceled.
Cancelation of games due to weather will be refunded at $50 per unplayed game.
No refunds outside of weather exception will be granted after June 7th, 2026
We bring in college coaches from the surrounding region to recruit 16/18u players. Coaches will be contacted for recruitment materials as the tournament draws near.
Tournament is 4 game guarantee single elimination tournament.
